Adding mathematical formulas to content, questions, and answers

On My Content, create a Quiz type of custom content

Highlight on any text in the question or answer field and select the Formula icon on the styling toolbar

Click on the button to add an equation

Add in your equation using LaTeX code. You can use LaTeX code generators online or the LaTeX Code Generator AI on ChatGPT to help you generate LaTeX code from your equations.

You will be able to see a preview of the equation before it goes out. Variables highlighted in red are variables that do not look correct. Be sure to clean up your code so the equation appears in all-black, which indicates that the equation is correct.

You can also add in formulas on Material custom content types. Simply highlight the text you want to convert to a formula, click the Formula icon and follow the instructions above to add in your equation.
