Students can reset their passwords by requesting a password reset by following the steps listed here: How to Reset your Password
However, if students are unable to reset their password, a teacher may generate a student's temporary password to log in and set a new password.
Note: It is often the case that a student is unable to login because their email is typed incorrectly. Please confirm in the "Students" tab of your course that the email associated with their account is the email they are using to login. Keep an eye out for misspellings in the email they typed to create an account, especially for longer email domains.
