If you happen to receive any errors or any trouble with your posts saving in the Social Media Simternship, there are a few things you can do that will usually resolve the error.

  • Log out and back in. For any 'Oh Dang!' or errors while posting, we recommend taking a screenshot of any work you have done thus far and then logging out and back in. The best practice for the courseware would be to log out and back in after each use to avoid any expired login sessions.

  • Check your internet connection. This simulation should save your posts and work as you go. Any disturbance to your connection can cause your work not to be saved. You'll want to make sure you don't have more than one instance of the simulation open at a time, and you have a good, strong internet connection. You'll also want to make sure you don't have too many programs or devices taking up a majority of your connection.

  • Turn off ad or pop-up blockers. Some ad and/or pop-up blockers will mistake the simulation for ads or pop-ups and block it from loading properly. You can disable this entirely or even just add us to the allowed ads or pop-ups to help counter it.

  • Trying another browser entirely. We generally recommend using Chrome. However, if you encounter errors such as this, you may try using another browser or even clearing your cookies and cache.

  • Trying an alternate device. We recommend using a PC or a laptop. You may have trouble posting on a tablet or mobile device, and we do not recommend it.

If you are still experiencing issues after doing all of the above, feel free to send us an email (support@stukent.com) with a screenshot attached.
